Description
ETHERFACE 2x MADI carries 128 channels in each direction at 48 kHz over two MADI ports, 64 channels per port, connecting to the computer over standard Gigabit Ethernet rather than a proprietary card.
Round-trip latency of 2 ms makes it usable as a live plug-in insert, not only for recording and virtual soundcheck. Because the link is Ethernet, more than one computer can share the same interface — redundant recording, or playback and recording from separate machines.
